Learn to Play The Drums!
HANDS-ON, INDIVIDUAL AND WITH FUN
Individual lessons are the most effective way to learn an instrument. Whether amateur, semi-professional or aspiring professional, lessons are based on the student's preferences and goals.
WHAT IS TAUGHT?
Through his many years of playing experience as a professional drummer, his studies at the Drummers Collective in New York City and his private studies with world-renowned top drummers*, Benedikt Hesse has a broad repertoire of teaching material and experience: technique, musicality, expression, styles, notation, improvisation and much more.
Besides the technical learning of the foundations of drumming, the musical application is a central point in the lessons. Quality before quantity: it is not always important how much and how fast a student learns, but that he also develops a feeling for himself and the music.
WHERE ARE LESSONS HELD?
The lessons take place in Benedikt's studio in Cologne Dellbrück and are very easy to reach by car as well as by public transport. In order not to give Corona a chance, appropriate distance is taken care of during the lessons, as well as mouth-nose protection is used. Furthermore, a ventilation system and an additional room air filter are in operation.
Via Skype, Facetime, Zoom or Whatsapp, the lessons can of course also take place conveniently online. Both options (online and on-site) can be combined.
HOW MUCH DOES THE LESSON COST?
Single lesson (50min) - 38€
10 value card (10 x 50min) - 350€
Reduced rates for youth and children on request.
RENTAL INSTRUMENTS
Benedikt's students have the possibility to rent a full drum set for 30€ per month.
